Labor Doula Services: $500.00 (Discount available for military families.) Phone Consults are free prior to setting up an appointment to go over the contract. A $250.00 Deposit will be due at the time we sign a contract for services, and begin talking over your Birth plan, etc. The remaining $250.00 will be due two weeks before your due date. If the baby is born before this time, your payment is due within ten days after the birth. If an induction or c-section is scheduled, payment is due before the scheduled date. If not paid in full I will not be able to attend your birth and the $250.00 deposit will be non-refundable. If you do not call me in time and I do not make it to your birth and it is not my fault, there will be no refund. So, please call me to come and help you for your birth. If for some reason I am unable to attend your birth due to my fault, (unforeseen circumstances, family illness, accident, etc.), you will receive a full refund including the deposit. I may be able to provide for a back up, if something comes up that cannot be helped, in which case she would receive a percentage of the payment. Water Labor/Birth: $100.00 in addition to the doula fee. This pays for tub rental, a new tub liner for each client, tub set up and take down. This is a service for my doula clients. If you would like more information, please contact me. Childbirth Classes: I am a certified childbirth educator through CAPPA - www.cappa.net - and tehrough the American Red Cross. I teach natural childbirth classes. I currently teach classes through the maternity, nursing boutique A Nurturing Moment in Huntsville. The class at ANM is a five week course including a breastfeeding class with a board-certfied lactation consultant, Glenni Lorick, and costs $100.00. I am also available to teach a private condensed childbirth class for you as my doula clients for an additional $50.00 above my regular fee. Note: Ladies who receive Medicaid for their pregnancy may be offered a reduced fee for doula services. I am committed to women in the child bearing year. If you are in need of doula services and are unable to pay the entire fee, I am willing to make other arrangements for payment. Do not ever hesitate to contact me because you feel you are unable to pay the entire amount. Also at the end of the birth if you feel that the services offered by me were above and beyond, I will accept a tip if you feel the need to do so. |
